Featured Study #1
Chronic Kidney Disease Clinical Trial
An estimated 31 million Americans live with chronic kidney disease (CKD). Treatment involves controlling symptoms, reducing complications, and slowing the progression of the disease. Some people with CKD also become anemic. Symptoms of anemia include weakness, fatigue, and chest pain. Cardiovascular disease is also common in people with CKD.
Featured Study #2
Lupus Clinical Trial
This study is for people with CLE (cutaneous lupus erythematosus) and/or SLE (systemic lupus erythematosus). People with certain types of lupus may experience skin rashes, sores, scarring, or inflammation. The investigational drug in this study targets the specific cells involved in causing these skin symptoms. This study will evaluate the safety of the drug and whether it may reduce these skin issues in patients with CLE, and may decrease overall lupus symptoms, such as fatigue and joint pain, in patients with SLE.
Featured Study #3
Because of the side effects of levodopa use, people diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease often choose to delay treatment with levodopa and start with other approved therapies. Typically, the first step is to start with medications that mimic levodopa, like Pramipexole, or medications that help increase natural dopamine levels, like Rasagiline. This clinical trial (phase 3) will research whether combining those two therapies at lower doses will result in a good therapeutic effect, with fewer side effects. A previous clinical trial (phase IIb) of the combination therapy showed positive results.

Featured Study #4
Children, Teens, and Adults with Severe Asthma
For some people with asthma, symptoms are not well controlled on current medications. These studies are researching an investigational medication for patients with uncontrolled or severe asthma. The study drug is being tested to determine if it can reduce inflammation in patients' airways, improve asthma symptoms and decrease the number of asthma attacks.
Featured Study #5
Primary Biliary Cholangitis or PBC (formerly known as Primary Biliary Cirrhosis)
Itchiness is a lesser known aspect of PBC liver disease that can impact sleep, mood and activities of daily living for patients. A clinical trial is researching the ability of an investigational medicine to treat PBC related itchiness.
